Why we use median?
Think of it like this: you have five nightly prices in your area— €60, €70, €80, €90 and one luxury at €300.
Average (mean):
(60+70+80+90+300)÷5 = €120
That's pulled way up by the €300 outlier.
Median:
€80 (the middle value)
